In November 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Blanco Infinitum by Maikel Martinez. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,806.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Maikel Martinez have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2017 the work The Lost Landscape (14) was auctioned for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,556.56).
