In the Beyond Legends: Modern Art Evening Sale auction, the work Portrait De Mademoiselle Phuong sold for HKD 24,375,000.00 (€ 2,609,725.69) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 9,300,000.00. This high result makes Portrait De Mademoiselle Phuong the most expensive artwork by Mai Trung Thu that we have observed at auctions so far.
