A top price for Mai Dantsig - as previously expected
The work Summer Picnic by Mai Dantsig was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,050.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Summer Picnic is the most expensive artwork by Mai Dantsig that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Summer Picnic von Mai Dantsig kam im November 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.050,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Summer Picnic das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mai Dantsig, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
