Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boat Man #3 by Maho Kino was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 200.00 – 400.00, the actual price achieved of USD 250.00 (€ 211.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Maho Kino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peanuts One in August last year with an auction result of USD 1,008.00 (€ 1,001.49).
