This work without title by Mahirwan Mamtani was sold in the The Surya Collection: Property from Mrs. Ute Rettberg auction at Sothebys in London in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 504.00 (€ 592.91), 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mahirwan Mamtani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Set of Seven Works (Revelation; Untitled; Fulfillment; Integration; Untitled; Untitled; Shakti) in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 23,940.00 (€ 20,386.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mahirwan Mamtani wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Surya Collection: Property from Mrs. Ute Rettberg bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 504,00 (€ 592,91) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mahirwan Mamtani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Set of Seven Works (Revelation; Untitled; Fulfillment; Integration; Untitled; Untitled; Shakti) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.940,00 (€ 20.386,61).
