The work The Coronation of The Virgin, with Saints Nicholas of Bari, Anthony Abbot, John the Baptist, Francis of Assisi, Phillip and Zanobi by The Master 'Francesco' was sold in the Important Old Master and British Pictures (Evening Sale) auction at Christies in London in July 2007. The price achieved of GBP 180,000.00 (€ 267,341.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Coronation of The Virgin, with Saints Nicholas of Bari, Anthony Abbot, John the Baptist, Francis of Assisi, Phillip and Zanobi is the most expensive artwork by The Master 'Francesco' that we have observed at auctions so far.
