Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Enter The Dragon Ii (Inspired By Robert Clouse) (Executed In 2020) by MADSAKI. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 9,600.00 (€ 9,803.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by MADSAKI achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birth of Venus II in May last year with an auction result of HKD 4,788,000.00 (€ 568,438.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Enter The Dragon Ii (Inspired By Robert Clouse) (Executed In 2020) von MADSAKI zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 9.600,00 (€ 9.803,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von MADSAKI erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birth of Venus II im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.788.000,00 (€ 568.438,36).
