The price achieved of GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,966.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Black and White - A Pair of Poodles is the most expensive artwork by Mabel Gear that we have observed at auctions so far.
