A top price for Ma Sibo
In November 2018 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale, which included the work Zebra Crossing by Ma Sibo. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 156,250.00 (€ 17,635.56). With this result, Zebra Crossing is even the most expensive work of art by Ma Sibo that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Ma Sibo
Im November 2018 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zebra Crossing von Ma Sibo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 156.250,00 (€ 17.635,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Zebra Crossing sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ma Sibo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
