This artwork by M.Smart achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in February last year. In the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work without title sold for GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,877.90) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by M.Smart that we have observed at auctions so far.
