Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Blossoms by Lü Fengzi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 12,000.00 – 22,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 14,705.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Lü Fengzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady Holding Qin in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 116,026.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossoms von Lü Fengzi kam im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 14.705,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lü Fengzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady Holding Qin im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 116.026,17).
