The work Monk Under Pine by Lü Fengzi was sold in the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 259,600.00 (€ 26,726.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Admittedly, works by Lü Fengzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady Holding Qin in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 116,026.17).

Die Arbeit Monk Under Pine von Lü Fengzi wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 259.600,00 (€ 26.726,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lü Fengzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady Holding Qin im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 116.026,17).
