The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,135.25 62% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lux Buurman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Herbarium sold at auction in June 2002 with the realized price of EUR 2,031.50.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.135,25 und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lux Buurman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Herbarium im Juni 2002 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 2.031,50.
