Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A still life with peeled apple and oriental doll by Lux Buurman was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2002. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 956.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lux Buurman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Herbarium, which sold at auction in June 2002 for EUR 2,031.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A still life with peeled apple and oriental doll von Lux Buurman wurde im Juni 2002 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 956,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lux Buurman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Herbarium beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für EUR 2.031,50 versteigert wurde.
