The work Portrait Of A Lady by Luke Sullivan was worth GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,244.37) to a buyer in May 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Luke Sullivan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait Of A Lady, Possibly Kitty Fisher sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,967.87).
