In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work A Spanish beauty sold for GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,345.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luis Franco Salinas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Violinist, which sold at auction in October 2000 for GBP 4,112.50 (€ 7,029.44).
