The work Geometrie by Luigi Veronesi was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2020. The auction ended at the price of EUR 10,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Veronesi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Relativo N. 31, which sold at auction in May 2010 for EUR 22,350.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Geometrie von Luigi Veronesi kam im November 2020 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Veronesi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Relativo N. 31 beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für EUR 22.350,00 versteigert wurde.
