In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Composizione L9 by Luigi Veronesi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,500.00 29% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Luigi Veronesi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Relativo N. 31 in May 2010 with an auction result of EUR 22,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composizione L9 von Luigi Veronesi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.500,00 und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Veronesi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Relativo N. 31 im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.350,00.
