The work 2 Blätter: Arco di Settimo Severo. Veduta dell'Anfiteatro Flavio, detto il Colosseo by Luigi Rossini was sold in the Alte Meister auction at Ketterer in Munich in November 2013. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 750.00 50% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Rossini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Saint Peter and the Apostolic Palace at the Vatican in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,527.33).

Die Arbeit 2 Blätter: Arco di Settimo Severo. Veduta dell'Anfiteatro Flavio, detto il Colosseo von Luigi Rossini wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Alte Meister bei Ketterer in München versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 750,00 und damit 50% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Rossini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of Saint Peter and the Apostolic Palace at the Vatican im Januar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.527,33).
