Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Ritratto di giovane con cappello by Luigi Filocamo was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 500.00 – 600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 400.00. Other works by Luigi Filocamo have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2016 by the work Fanciulla con fiocco nero at EUR 650.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Ritratto di giovane con cappello von Luigi Filocamo im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 600,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 400,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Luigi Filocamo wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2016 die Arbeit Fanciulla con fiocco nero mit EUR 650,00.
