In November 2005 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work L'angelo by Luigi Filocamo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 260.40 74% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Filocamo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fanciulla con fiocco nero, which sold at auction in May 2016 for EUR 650.00.

Im November 2005 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'angelo von Luigi Filocamo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 260,40 und damit 74% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Filocamo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fanciulla con fiocco nero beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für EUR 650,00 versteigert wurde.
