Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2002 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Donna alla finestra by Luigi Bartolini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,356.00 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Bartolini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lotto di 4 Opere: A) Rovescio D'Ospedale Firmato E Datato L. Bartolini 1941 (Su Lastra); Titolo E Data Rovescio D'Ospedale,1927-41 (In Basso A Sinistra), Firma Luigi Bartolini (In Basso A Destra) Acquaforte Cm 30X41 B) Due Lavandaie Titolo, Data E Fi, which sold at auction in November 2006 for EUR 4,960.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Donna alla finestra von Luigi Bartolini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.356,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Bartolini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lotto di 4 Opere: A) Rovescio D'Ospedale Firmato E Datato L.
