In the Old Masters & 19th Century Art auction, the work Bathtime tales sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,044.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Ludwig Vollmar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A playful moment in December 2005 with an auction result of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,384.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ludwig Vollmar erzielte im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit Bathtime tales für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.044,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ludwig Vollmar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A playful moment im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.384,26).
