Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Admired Knight by Ludovico Marchetti was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. The price achieved of EUR 2,280.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ludovico Marchetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian Summer Regatta At The Bridge At Bercy in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 36,050.00 (€ 42,303.47).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.280,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
