The price achieved of USD 509,000.00 (€ 450,841.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ludger Tom Ring II have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Wild Roses, Peonies And Other Flowers In A White Earthenware Vase in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,130,000.00 (€ 2,804,156.96).
