Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Narcissi, Calamine Violets And Periwinkle In A Façon-De-Venise Ewer, On A Ledge With A Sprig Of Rue by Ludger Tom Ring II was sold in the Renaissance auction at Christies in New York in January 2015. The price achieved of USD 509,000.00 (€ 450,841.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ludger Tom Ring II have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Wild Roses, Peonies And Other Flowers In A White Earthenware Vase in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,130,000.00 (€ 2,804,156.96).

Die Arbeit Narcissi, Calamine Violets And Periwinkle In A Façon-De-Venise Ewer, On A Ledge With A Sprig Of Rue von Ludger Tom Ring II wurde im Januar 2015 in der Auktion Renaissance bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 509.000,00 (€ 450.841,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ludger Tom Ring II auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Wild Roses, Peonies And Other Flowers In A White Earthenware Vase im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.130.000,00 (€ 2.804.156,96).
