Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moondance (Boxing Hares) by Lucy Kinsella was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2007. The price achieved of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 30,272.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucy Kinsella - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Mojo Workout' (Boxing Hares), which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 40,800.00 (€ 60,589.28).
