In November 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Evening Sale, which included the work Concetto Spaziale, La Fine Di Dio by Lucio Fontana. Here, the upper estimate of USD 29,000,001.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 29,173,000.00 (€ 27,620,715.77). With this result, Concetto Spaziale, La Fine Di Dio is even the most expensive work of art by Lucio Fontana that we have observed at auctions so far.
