Despite a disappointment, a good price for Lucien Simon
In May 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work French le Petit Dejeuner by Lucien Simon for GBP 39,650.00 (€ 45,339.90). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, French le Petit Dejeuner is the most expensive artwork by Lucien Simon that we have observed at auction so far.

Im Mai 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit French le Petit Dejeuner von Lucien Simon für GBP 39.650,00 (€ 45.339,90) erwerben.
