Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work The Hillside, Berneval by Lucien Pissarro. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,655.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gouvernes, près Lagny in October this year with an auction result of EUR 352,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Hillside, Berneval von Lucien Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.655,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gouvernes, près Lagny im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 352.800,00.
