Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Christies in London held the auction Modern British Art Day Sale, which included the work Les Oliviers, Temps Gris, Toulon by Lucien Pissarro. It changed hands for a price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,079.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gouvernes, près Lagny in October this year with an auction result of EUR 352,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Oliviers, Temps Gris, Toulon von Lucien Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.079,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gouvernes, près Lagny im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 352.800,00.
