Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Jean Prouvé's Prototype Maison Tropicale and Works by Jean Prouvé,Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret from the Collection of Eric Touchaleaume, which included the work Six Silver Gelatin Prints of The Cité Radieuse, Marseille, Circa 1950 by Lucien Hervé. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,500.00 – 8,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,260.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Lucien Hervé have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Three Gelatin Silver Prints, Circa 1955 was auctioned for USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,437.87).

Im Juni 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Jean Prouvé's Prototype Maison Tropicale and Works by Jean Prouvé,Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret from the Collection of Eric Touchaleaume durch, in der auch die Arbeit Six Silver Gelatin Prints of The Cité Radieuse, Marseille, Circa 1950 von Lucien Hervé zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.500,00 – 8.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.260,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
