A top price for Lucien Hervé - as previously expected
In June 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Jean Prouvé's Prototype Maison Tropicale and Works by Jean Prouvé,Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret from the Collection of Eric Touchaleaume, which included the work Three Gelatin Silver Prints, Circa 1955 by Lucien Hervé. The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,437.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Three Gelatin Silver Prints, Circa 1955 is the most expensive artwork by Lucien Hervé that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Jean Prouvé's Prototype Maison Tropicale and Works by Jean Prouvé,Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret from the Collection of Eric Touchaleaume durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Gelatin Silver Prints, Circa 1955 von Lucien Hervé zur Versteigerung kam.
