Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work (I) Rice Field (Ii) On The Way by Lucien Frits Ohl for HKD 35,000.00 (€ 4,118.77). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Lucien Frits Ohl have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2008 by the work Dutch The Cock Fight at EUR 6,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit (I) Rice Field (Ii) On The Way von Lucien Frits Ohl für HKD 35.000,00 (€ 4.118,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Lucien Frits Ohl wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2008 die Arbeit Dutch The Cock Fight mit EUR 6.000,00.
