Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art, which included the work Landscape With A Cart Crossing A River by Lucas van Uden. It changed hands for a price of USD 45,000.00 (€ 34,620.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucas van Uden - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An extensive coastal landscape; and A river landscape with travellers, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 106,250.00 (€ 124,600.16).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 45.000,00 (€ 34.620,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00.
