In April 2000 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work A wooded river landscape with peasants by Lucas van Uden. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 19,975.00 (€ 34,196.39), 66% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucas van Uden - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An extensive coastal landscape; and A river landscape with travellers, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 106,250.00 (€ 124,600.16).

Im April 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A wooded river landscape with peasants von Lucas van Uden zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 19.975,00 (€ 34.196,39) und damit 66% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucas van Uden mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An extensive coastal landscape; and A river landscape with travellers beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 106.250,00 (€ 124.600,16) versteigert wurde.
