This artwork by Lucas van Uden achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2006. In the Master Drawings from the Oppé Collection auction, the work A wooded landscape with houses on a track sold for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,767.61) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucas van Uden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An extensive coastal landscape; and A river landscape with travellers in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 124,600.16).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucas van Uden erzielte im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Master Drawings from the Oppé Collection wurde die Arbeit A wooded landscape with houses on a track für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.767,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucas van Uden erzielen.
