This artwork by Lucas Price achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in December 2020. In the Urban & Pop Contemporary auction, the work Untitled (Portrait Of A Woman) - 2016 sold for EUR 3,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucas Price - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Deflation Painting #7, 2018, which sold at auction in June 2019 for GBP 11,312.00 (€ 12,716.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucas Price erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Portrait Of A Woman) - 2016 für EUR 3.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucas Price mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Deflation Painting #7, 2018 beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für GBP 11.312,00 (€ 12.716,37) versteigert wurde.
