Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Visiting A Friend by Lu Yanshao was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. The auction ended at the price of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 122,543.48), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Yanshao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunrise In Tai Mountain in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 16,250,000.00 (€ 1,855,531.33).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Visiting A Friend von Lu Yanshao wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 122.543,48) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Yanshao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunrise In Tai Mountain im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.250.000,00 (€ 1.855.531,33).
