Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Yanshao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunrise In Tai Mountain in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 16,250,000.00 (€ 1,855,531.33).

Die Arbeit Streams and Mountains after Rain, 1982 von Lu Yanshao kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 44.475,00 (€ 41.573,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Yanshao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunrise In Tai Mountain im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.250.000,00 (€ 1.855.531,33).
