The work Scenery of The Three Gorges by Lu Yanshao was worth HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 143,473.72) to a buyer in May this year. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings at Christies in Cologne and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Yanshao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunrise In Tai Mountain in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 16,250,000.00 (€ 1,855,531.33).

Die Arbeit Scenery of The Three Gorges von Lu Yanshao war einem Käufer im Mai diesen Jahres HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 143.473,72) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Köln erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Yanshao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunrise In Tai Mountain im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.250.000,00 (€ 1.855.531,33).
