Upper estimate price exceeded by 44 %.
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Plum Bossom And Rock by Lu Yanshao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 72,000.00 (€ 73,526.09), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Yanshao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunrise In Tai Mountain in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 16,250,000.00 (€ 1,855,531.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plum Bossom And Rock von Lu Yanshao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 73.526,09) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Yanshao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunrise In Tai Mountain im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.250.000,00 (€ 1.855.531,33).
