A top price for Lu Xue
The work Hunting by Lu Xue was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 600,000.00 (€ 65,552.70), 67% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Hunting the most expensive artwork by Lu Xue that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Hunting von Lu Xue wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 65.552,70) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Hunting zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Lu Xue, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
