Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Conversation above Waterfall by Lu Xue was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. The price achieved of HKD 151,200.00 (€ 17,950.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lu Xue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hunting, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 600,000.00 (€ 65,552.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Conversation above Waterfall von Lu Xue kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 151.200,00 (€ 17.950,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lu Xue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hunting beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 600.000,00 (€ 65.552,70) versteigert wurde.
