Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lü Fengzi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Figure sold for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,502.02) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lü Fengzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady Holding Qin in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 116,026.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lü Fengzi erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Figure für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.502,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lü Fengzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady Holding Qin im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 116.026,17).
