Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Summer Mountains by Lu Daohuai was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,563.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Daohuai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Huang Gongwang in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 70,821.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Summer Mountains von Lu Daohuai wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.563,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Daohuai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Huang Gongwang im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 70.821,48).
