The work Landscape After Huang Gongwang by Lu Daohuai was worth HKD 600,000.00 (€ 70,821.48) to a buyer in April 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Landscape After Huang Gongwang the most expensive artwork by Lu Daohuai that we have observed at auctions so far.
