It achieved a price of EUR 1,968, exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Loustal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 6,250.

Die Arbeit Baie Fatale von Jacques Loustal wurde im Februar 2023 in der Auktion Comic Strips bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.968 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacques Loustal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 6.250 versteigert wurde.
