This artwork by Jacques Loustal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in November last year. In the Sale to Benefit Écoles du Monde auction, the work Oscar Et La Baleine Carrée - 2018 sold for EUR 2,800 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,001. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Loustal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 6,250.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacques Loustal erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Sale to Benefit Écoles du Monde wurde die Arbeit Oscar Et La Baleine Carrée - 2018 für EUR 2.800 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.001. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacques Loustal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 6.250 versteigert wurde.
