In September 2019 Christies in Zurich held the auction Swiss Art, which included the work Bouquet de fleurs avec papillons by Louis Vivin. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 4,000.00 (€ 3,676.11), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Vivin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eglise Saint Pierre de Montmartre, which sold at auction in February 2008 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,876.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im September 2019 führte Christies in Zürich die Auktion Swiss Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bouquet de fleurs avec papillons von Louis Vivin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 4.000,00 (€ 3.676,11) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Vivin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eglise Saint Pierre de Montmartre beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 9.876,87) versteigert wurde.
