Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Royal Natch in the island of Jug Navas Oudeypour; Gardens of Jug Navas Oudeypour; The Maha Rana and the British Agent; The Doorgha of Kwaja Syed Ajmeer; Street of the Seths Ajmeer; The King's Temples Ulwur; and The Rajah by Louis Rousselet was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,686.40). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Rousselet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Voyage dans l'Inde in May 2003 with an auction result of GBP 71,700.00 (€ 99,896.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Royal Natch in the island of Jug Navas Oudeypour; Gardens of Jug Navas Oudeypour; The Maha Rana and the British Agent; The Doorgha of Kwaja Syed Ajmeer; Street of the Seths Ajmeer; The King's Temples Ulwur; and The Rajah von Louis Rousselet kam im April 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
